Manchester City Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho has been offered twice his current win in Man City by West Ham United while his move to the Hammers is approaching.

The talks are progressing very well between the representatives of Iheanacho and West Ham, with Iheanacho also participating in the negotiations that took place during the weekend.

Iheanacho arrived in Manchester from Nigeria’s national team camp on Saturday after helping them draw 1-1 against Corsica, a game that scored Nigeria’s only goal to help preserve their unbeaten record.

West Ham is willing to pay £ 70,000 a week, which is twice what it currently earns at Etihad after its new deal just before the start of the recently concluded English Premier League in England.

The sum he will earn in a week means around N1.57 million per season in Nigerian currency, making him the second most winning Nigerian player in Europe after Victor Moisés of Chelsea.

Already his imminent transfer to West Ham will make him the most expensive Nigerian player at 24 million pounds, four million pounds more than Odion Ighalo who moved to the Chinese side Chanchung Yatai for £ 20 million in January from Watford.
