While some Nigerians can’t afford a meal, some others are living the life, cruising round town in luxurious cars. One of such luxury automobiles that the rich and famous in Nigeria are obsessed with is the Rolls Royce.

No doubt, it is one of the most expensive automobiles in the world and has remained the world’s super-luxury car for several years.  As at 2015, the prices vary from $319,025 (about N143million) to $407,400 (about N183million) depending on the models or customized ones from the factory. The car comes in different forms of Coupe, Drop Head Coupe, Rolls Royce Ghost and Sedan.

Despite the exorbitant price and people crying about economic recession, some Nigerians have made it a must to acquire it.

Below are some Nigerians who are in love with this powerful machine and have it in their garage.

1. Otunba Subomi Balogun

The Ijebu born high prince and founder of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) is one super rich man with taste. Report has it that he has no fewer than 11 Rolls Royce cars in his garage, built with custom specs. In 2014, he added the 2014 Rolls Royce Phantom to his collection.

2. Prince Bolu Akin-Olugbade

The Aare Onakakanfo of Owu Kingdom is one man who is so much in love with this luxurious automobile. He bought his first Rolls Royce in 1984 and since then, he has been adding more to his fleet of cars. Report has it that he has seven so far, including two latest models Phantoms.

3. Brown Ideye

He also belongs to the league of Nigerians who have Rolls Royce in their car collection. In 2014, the Super Eagles striker acquired the 2015 Rolls Royce Ghost II worth over $250,000 (N49.8million).

4. J Martins

In 2012, J Martins, a producer, songwriter and musician, decided to pamper himself silly with the acquisition of a Rolls Royce Phantom.

5. Chris Okotie

Pastor of the Household of God Church is one of the Rolls Royce freaks in Nigeria. In 2014, he added the Rolls Royce Phantom 2014 edition to the fleet in his garage. The car was said to have cost him a whooping sum of N80million.

6. Deji Adeleke

The billionaire businessman acquired a Rolls Royce in 2014. His son, Davido, had shared the photo with the caption ‘Congrats daddy on your new ‘toy’. Ur d baddest. Baba Olowo’.

7. The Emir of Kano, Muhammadu Sanusi II

In 2015, he rode in his Rolls Royce when he was installed the chancellor of University of Benin, Benin, Edo state. In 2016,he got the 2016 Rolls Royce Phantom which is estimated at $417,825 (about N132 million) for Sallah.

8. Gladys Ndubuisi Kanu

In 2014, the former first lady of Lagos state joined the ranks of Rolls Royce cruisers in Nigeria. She bought herself a brand new 2014 Rolls Royce Phantom with extended wheelbase for a whooping N120million. She is the wife of Admiral Godwin Ndubuisi-Kanu, a former military governor of Lagos and Imo states.

9. Sir Gabriel Osawaru Igbinedion

The Esama of Benin and Patriarch of the Igbinedion Dynasty is a big time freak of Rolls Royce. He said to have 3 of the luxury automobile in his expansive car fleet.
